| The home of Viking Wheelers Viking Wheelers is an informal and non-profitable bicycle group based in Bangkok, most of our members is from the Nordic countries, but we welcome people in all ages, live style and nationality who enjoy bicycling for fun and camaraderie in the Nordic style, with a few friendly jokes on the way. Vikings are not racers but we keep a decent speed when we explore and we have regular monthly / bi-monthly trips outside Bangkok, we aim at cycling mostly on asphalt roads and through villages not normally visited by tourists and foreign residents in Thailand. A regular day trip on the bike for us is in the range of 50 - 80 km with convenient pit stops and a support car to pick up the younger and sometimes older Vikings who run out of energy. Once a year we have a family day where everyone from very young to very old is invited and for the hard core Vikings we have a yearly ride in December where we bike around 400 – 500 km split on 5-7 days. Keep and eye on our 'Tours' section for all the adventures you can join. Vikings were some of the first ones to acknowledge safety, so when we explore as a group we help to look out for each other, being the young kid as well as the more senior person, and we of course wear our Viking helmets.
